Solar Contractors Meet Surat 2025 Concludes Successfully, Showcasing Gujarat’s EPC Excellence and Rooftop Growth Potential

SolarQuarter successfully hosted the Solar Contractors Meet Surat 2025 on September 16th at Orange Megastructure LLP, marking another impactful chapter in its exclusive Solar Contractors Series. The event brought together key stakeholders—EPCs, system integrators, and installers—from across Gujarat to explore innovation, collaboration, and growth opportunities in the state’s rapidly expanding solar ecosystem.

The event commenced with a welcome address by the Chief Guest, Shri Mahesh G. Surti, Chief Engineer, Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (DGVCL), setting an inspiring tone for the day. Following a dynamic panel discussion on rooftop solar in Gujarat and business growth opportunities for EPCs, Dr. Anil Kumar Dubey, Director, Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), delivered the Knowledge presentation, sharing insights on policy developments, technological advancements, and strategies to accelerate rooftop adoption across the state. Adding further perspective, Shri Rakesh Trivedi, Co-Chairman, Renewable Energy Committee, The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), also addressed the gathering as Guest of Honor, highlighting avenues for industry collaboration and business expansion.

The event also featured Mr. Nitin Agarwal, CEO, Rajasthan Solar Association, who presented a preview of the upcoming Bharat Renewable Expo 2026, emphasizing opportunities for cross-regional partnerships and growth.

Alongside the sessions, attendees explored the Solar Bazaar—a dedicated platform for business matchmaking, product showcasing, and partnership building—facilitating meaningful interactions and knowledge sharing among EPCs and solution providers.

The day concluded with the Solar Contractors Excellence Awards 2025 – Surat, celebrating exemplary achievements in project execution, innovation, safety, and technical excellence. The success of the event reaffirmed SolarQuarter’s commitment to empowering solar professionals and fostering an ecosystem that drives India’s clean energy transition forward.
