StarlinePS Enterprises Invests ₹160 Crore in Celloraa Energy to Set Up 1.2 GW DCR-Compliant Solar Cell Plant in Gujarat

StarlinePS Enterprises Ltd. has announced a strategic investment of ₹160 crore in Celloraa Energy Pvt. Ltd. to establish a 1.2 GW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant solar cell manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat.

The investment is aimed at strengthening India’s domestic renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem and supporting the country’s objective of achieving energy self-reliance through indigenous clean energy technologies. The upcoming facility is expected to enhance local solar cell production capacity while contributing to the expansion of India’s renewable energy value chain.

According to the company, the investment will enable Celloraa Energy to develop advanced solar cell manufacturing infrastructure and support the increasing demand for domestically manufactured solar components.

Commenting on the development, Shwet Koradiya, Director of StarlinePS Enterprises Ltd., said the investment reflects the company’s confidence in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy manufacturing sector and Celloraa Energy’s long-term growth strategy. He added that the partnership underscores StarlinePS’ commitment to advancing technological innovation, promoting domestic manufacturing capabilities, and supporting India’s clean energy transition.

Brijesh Gondaliya, Director of Celloraa Energy Pvt. Ltd., described the partnership as a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to build world-class solar manufacturing capabilities in India. He stated that the collaboration with StarlinePS Enterprises will help accelerate the country’s progress towards energy independence while supporting sustainable industrial growth.

The announcement comes as India continues to expand its domestic solar manufacturing capacity under initiatives promoting self-reliance and local value addition in the renewable energy sector. The proposed 1.2 GW facility is expected to contribute to these national objectives by increasing the availability of DCR-compliant solar cells for the domestic market.
