Sunraycer Renewables LLC, a prominent clean energy developer and operator, has signed two Environmental Attribute Purchase Agreements (EAPAs) with Meta Platforms, Inc. to supply renewable energy from its upcoming solar projects in Texas. Under the agreements, Meta will acquire 100% of the Environmental Attributes from Sunraycer’s Midpoint Solar project in Hill County and Gaia Solar project in Navarro County—marking a major step in the buildout of Sunraycer’s 4 GWac solar and battery energy portfolio.

The Midpoint Solar facility, located near Blum, Texas, will deliver 127 MWdc / 97.5 MWac of clean power to the ERCOT grid and is expected to begin commercial operations in Q4 2025. Similarly, the Gaia Solar project, near Kerens, Texas, will add 184 MWdc / 143 MWac to ERCOT’s grid and is scheduled to go live in the same quarter.

David Lillefloren, CEO of Sunraycer, said in a statement, “This partnership with Meta underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, utility-scale solar projects that drive the transition to clean energy. We are proud to support ERCOT’s energy diversification efforts, while helping Meta meet its ambitious sustainability goals.”

Urvi Parekh, global head of energy, Meta, mentioned, “We’re excited to support Sunraycer’s efforts to bring two solar projects to the grid in Texas. These projects will support our goals to match our operations with 100% clean and renewable energy.”

These agreements with Meta will support the construction of the first two projects in Sunraycer’s large-scale renewable energy pipeline. Beyond this collaboration, Sunraycer is actively expanding its strategic partnerships through its Accelerant Program—an initiative designed to empower smaller developers with flexible capital and institutional-grade operational, energy, and generation management services. This program is positioning Sunraycer as a key partner for industrial power users and data center operators seeking dependable, utility-scale clean energy solutions.
