Tigo Energy, Inc., a top provider of smart solar and energy software solutions, announced that solar installers worldwide have registered over 1,000 systems in its Green Glove program. This initiative, part of Tigo’s commitment to Total Quality Solar (TQS), offers full support throughout the solar installation process. It helps installers speed up deployment, improve installation quality, enhance safety, and boost system performance. While nearly 70% of participants so far are from the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, Tigo is now expanding the program for residential solar projects.
Andrew Taft, Purchasing and Logistics Director at Exel Solar US, stated “Tigo’s Green Glove Service showcases their commitment to industry-leading customer service, which aligns with our values and mission. Their dedicated support helps our installer partners work more efficiently, resulting in more successful projects and satisfied customers. Ultimately, this partnership enhances the reliability and performance of the solar systems we provide.”
The Green Glove program strengthens the connection between installers and Tigo by offering personalized guidance, technical support, and best practices to ensure smooth project execution. This has led to fewer installation errors, reduced downtime, and an overall better experience for installers. The program also provides valuable feedback that helps refine Tigo’s products and engineering processes.
Greg Sellers, CEO of Stable Solar, said “With Tigo’s Green Glove program, we’ve experienced a new level of collaboration between manufacturer and installer. The flexibility of the Tigo solution, coupled with on-site support from Green Glove, have been instrumental in delivering superior results to solar homeowners. The Green Glove program has been a game-changer for us.”
Since its launch, Green Glove has engaged with 1,000 solar sites worldwide, including over 700 C&I installations and 300+ residential projects. These cases are spread across regions: 47% in the Americas (AMER), 31% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), 19% in Asia-Pacific (APAC), and 3% in Latin America (LATAM). So far, 55% of these engagements have been completed, while 45% are ongoing.
JD Dillon, Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer at Tigo Energy, mentioned “The Green Glove program is an outward-facing manifestation of our embrace of the Total Quality Solar ethos that reaches beyond the Tigo walls and directly into the vast ecosystem of solar installers that deploy our products. As such, the program represents our commitment to helping the entire ecosystem, such as Excel Solar and Stable Solar, achieve the best possible outcomes for their customers. At the same time, it strengthens our relationships within the industry, as many installers return to Tigo for future projects after experiencing the depth of support and partnership we provide. Green Glove is not just helping them. It is also helping us.”
The Green Glove process starts with a design review to optimize system layout and component selection. During installation, Tigo experts are available to answer questions in real time. Once the system is up and running, a Green Glove team member conducts a final review, offers follow-up support, and provides feedback for future improvements.
