U-Solar Targets 200 MW Renewable Asset Delivery as Revenue Crosses INR 1,000 Crore

Clean energy solutions provider U-Solar Clean Energy highlighted its transition from a conventional engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor to an integrated renewable energy management partner during its participation at IITMAA Sangam 2026 in Bengaluru.

The event brought together representatives from government, industry and academia to discuss India’s clean energy transition, with a focus on technology, innovation, domestic manufacturing and the development of resilient power infrastructure.

According to the company, U-Solar has delivered more than 300 MW of renewable energy assets, while an additional 200 MW is currently under execution. Supported by the expansion of its project portfolio, the company said its turnover has grown by more than 100%, rising from approximately ₹425 crore last year to over ₹1,000 crore in the current fiscal year.

Speaking during a panel discussion titled “The Solar RE-volution: Powering India’s Sustainable Growth,” K. R. Harinarayan, Founder and CEO of U-Solar Clean Energy, said the company is increasingly focusing on technology-driven solutions designed around customer load profiles.

U-Solar’s portfolio extends beyond conventional rooftop solar to include building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) for data centres, large-scale floating solar projects, off-grid island hybrid systems, battery energy storage and in-house AI-enabled energy solutions.

The company, backed by a team of more than 100 engineering and project delivery professionals, has undertaken BIPV installations for commercial hubs and data centres in Chennai and Mumbai. Its project portfolio also includes floating solar deployments for Damodar Valley Corporation at Maithon Dam and Bhilai Steel Plant.

Internationally, U-Solar has delivered a government-supported island hybrid power project covering three islands north of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, demonstrating its capabilities in off-grid and hybrid renewable energy systems.

As part of its international growth strategy, U-Solar is strengthening its presence in Sri Lanka and Nepal while pursuing expansion opportunities across the Middle East, with a focus on technology-backed decarbonisation solutions for industrial and commercial customers.
