Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WAAREERTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has announced the receipt of a significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a solar power project under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0” (MSKVY 2.0). The company informed stock exchanges BSE and NSE of this development under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The Letter of Award (LOA), received on July 2, 2025, at 6:05 p.m. IST, mandates Waaree to execute EPC work and provide Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for a 21 MW AC / 29.4 MW DC ground-mounted solar power project. The project, awarded by a domestic construction company, is valued at approximately ₹26.17 crore (excluding taxes) and is slated for completion in the financial year 2025–26.

The order marks a commercial contract from a domestic entity and does not fall under any related party transactions. Waaree clarified that the promoter or its group companies have no interest in the awarding entity.

This development reinforces Waaree Renewable Technologies’ role in driving clean energy initiatives in India, particularly under government schemes aimed at solarizing agricultural infrastructure. The MSKVY 2.0 initiative promotes decentralized solar projects for the benefit of farmers, aligning with India’s broader renewable energy goals.
