CS Energy Hits Major 2 GW Operational Solar Milestone

CS Energy, a top engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company in renewable energy, has reached a significant milestone of 2 GW in operational solar projects. The company has successfully designed and installed 263 projects across 19 states, with a strong presence in the Northeast, including New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. In addition to its solar achievements, CS Energy has also completed energy storage projects totaling over 650 megawatt-hours (MWh), further solidifying its position as a leader in developing, designing, and building optimized solar, energy storage, and emerging energy solutions.

New York has been a significant focus for CS Energy, with the company completing over 780 MW of solar projects in the state over the past five years. Among its notable achievements is a solar project developed on an EPA Superfund Site in Mount Olive, New Jersey. CS Energy’s recent 2 GW operational solar milestone is accompanied by industry-wide recognition. In 2023, the company was ranked as the number one commercial solar installer in the United States, holding a 5.3% market share, as per the Wood Mackenzie U.S. PV Leaderboard. Additionally, it secured the third spot for community solar installations with a 4.3% market share. Continuing its success into 2024, CS Energy was featured on Solar Power World magazine’s Top Solar Contractors list and led the Northeast rankings.
