Ballard Power Systems says there has been “meaningful progress” in  green hydrogen availability as the producers begin to encounter “more predictable” offtake.

Marty Neese, CEO of the Canadian fuel cell maker, told investors during the firm’s Q1 investor call that increasingly credible offtake has brought momentum and a broader market freedom to suppliers, enabling them to “get more aggressive in their pricing”.

Sectors like heavy-duty sectors like ammonia production and refining have been some of the key secure, reliable early green hydrogen end-uses.
