GoodWe Launches Future-Ready Hybrid Inverter for Smarter Home Energy

GoodWe has introduced the ES Uniq Series, a new line of single-phase hybrid inverters designed for residential solar-plus-storage systems. With capacities ranging from 3kW to 12kW, the ES Uniq supports a wide range of battery types, including GoodWe’s third-generation Lynx A and Lynx U series, as well as other major battery brands and lead-acid options. The inverter allows for up to 200% PV input oversizing and 20A DC input per string, offering high energy yields. Its modular design enables up to six units to operate in parallel in both on-grid and off-grid modes, providing homeowners with scalable energy solutions.

Built for resilience, the ES Uniq ensures an ultra-fast transition to backup mode in under 4 milliseconds, protecting appliances during outages. It supports a 75A bypass current in backup mode to handle larger residential loads. The system integrates smart loads, on-grid inverters, and generators into a single port, simplifying system configuration. Generator compatibility ensures batteries can be charged even when solar or grid power is limited. The inverter’s micro-grid functionality also enables it to work with PV inverters to form a local energy grid, delivering stable performance in weak grid or fully off-grid environments.

The ES Uniq is engineered for quiet and durable operation, with noise levels as low as 30dB and robust IP66 protection against dust and water. It can withstand temperatures from -35°C to 60°C, making it suitable for diverse climates. An optional AI-powered Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) enhances safety by detecting and mitigating arc faults. A built-in display allows users to monitor system status, receive alerts, and adjust settings such as safety codes and power limits, making the ES Uniq a smart and adaptable choice for modern homes.
