LONGi Academy Hosts Successful Energy Transformation Forum in Amman

LONGi Academy Hosts Successful Energy Transformation Forum in Amman, Jordan [18 April 2026], through its LONGi Academy platform, successfully concluded the Energy Sector Transformation Challenge Forum, held at Applied Science Private University in Amman, in collaboration with Association of Energy Engineers.

The session featured Eng. Omar Atiyat, Sales Director – Middle East at LONGi, who delivered an insightful presentation on “Advancements in Photovoltaic Panel Technology.” The session placed strong emphasis on the latest breakthroughs in Back Contact (BC) technology and Anti-Dust innovations, addressing critical performance challenges in regional solar markets. BC technology was presented as a leading advancement in photovoltaic design, enabling higher efficiency by eliminating front-side shading and maximizing light absorption.

This results in enhanced energy yield, improved reliability, and a more optimized module architecture suited for high-performance applications. In addition, LONGi highlighted its advanced Anti-Dust solutions, specifically engineered to mitigate the impact of soiling in harsh and desert environments. By reducing dust accumulation and minimizing performance losses, these innovations contribute to more stable energy generation, lower maintenance needs, and improved long-term system performance.

The forum brought together engineering students, academic professionals, and energy enthusiasts, offering them hands-on exposure to real-world renewable energy applications and direct engagement with industry expertise. The event reinforced the importance of aligning academic learning with evolving market needs and technological advancements.

This initiative reflects LONGi Academy’s ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of energy leaders by equipping them with cutting-edge knowledge and practical insights. Through strategic collaborations with leading institutions and organizations, LONGi continues to support the development of a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy sector in Jordan and across the region.
