Cryogenic technology specialist Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Nikkiso CE&IG) has won a contract to supply cryogenic submerged motor pumps for the Hanseatic Energy Hub liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Germany.
Located in Stade, the facility is set to become Germany’s largest land-based LNG import terminal and is expected to be operational in 2029.
Nikkiso CE&IG will deliver 20 low-pressure and nine high-pressure pumps to the site this year.
The first phase of the Hanseatic Energy Hub will include infrastructure for LNG, bio-LNG, and synthetic natural gas (SNG).
