The Solar Week Morocco 2025 Concludes Successfully in Casablanca, Spotlighting Innovation, Policy Leadership, and the Future of Solar Energy

The Solar Week Morocco 2025, held on June 23 at the Kenzi Tower Hotel, Casablanca – Morocco, concluded with resounding success, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s renewable energy journey. The 2nd edition brought together a focused and influential group of solar and clean energy stakeholders—developers, EPC companies, technology providers, policymakers, and financiers—for a day of impactful discussions, solution showcases, and strategic networking.

The conference floor was alive with collaboration as leading players presented forward-looking strategies and emerging solutions for solar power generation, regulatory alignment, grid integration, and storage innovation. From technology presentations and expert insights to market-driven dialogues, attendees gained a comprehensive perspective on scaling solar infrastructure across Morocco in alignment with the nation’s 2030 renewable energy targets.

One of the defining highlights of the event was the presence of Hon. Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development of the Kingdom of Morocco, who delivered a powerful opening message via video. In recognition of her continued leadership and contribution to the country’s energy transition, an honorary award was presented and received on her behalf by Ms. Badiaa Gueroui, Director of Strategy, Forecasting, Observation, and Cooperation at the Ministry.

The event also featured insightful presentations from UNIDO and Sol-Bright, which added strong technical and strategic dimensions to the day’s proceedings. These sessions emphasized the importance of innovation, energy efficiency, and robust public-private collaboration in shaping Morocco’s solar future.

The day culminated in dynamic networking and knowledge-sharing moments, reinforcing The Solar Week Morocco’s growing reputation as a platform for accelerating real-world progress in the region’s clean energy landscape.
