Hartek Power Wins 400 MW Solar EPC Project in Rajasthan

Hartek Power’s Renewables Business Unit has secured a 400 MW utility-scale solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract in Rajasthan, strengthening its position in India’s renewable energy infrastructure sector.

The project will be executed in two phases and involves the development of two 200 MW solar power plants, with a combined installed capacity of 299.2 MWac/400 MWdc.

As part of the contract, Hartek Power will undertake the complete EPC scope, including detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plants. The company will also be responsible for integrating owner-supplied equipment, grid interconnection and final project commissioning.

In addition to the solar generation assets, Hartek Power will construct a 220 kV Solar Pooling Substation, providing the transmission infrastructure required to evacuate renewable power to the grid. The integrated scope combines solar generation with high-voltage grid infrastructure, supporting efficient power evacuation from utility-scale renewable projects.

The project aligns with India’s ongoing investments in renewable energy, transmission networks and grid modernisation as the country works towards achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel power capacity by 2030. Integrated projects that combine renewable generation with evacuation infrastructure are expected to play a key role in supporting reliable grid connectivity.

The latest contract further expands Hartek Power’s renewable EPC portfolio, reinforcing its expertise in utility-scale solar projects, extra-high-voltage substations and power transmission infrastructure across India.
