Jupiter International Wins ₹108 Crore LoE from MSEDCL for 5,000 Solar-Powered Agricultural Pumps

Jupiter International Limited has received a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 5,000 solar-powered agricultural pumps under the state’s solar irrigation programme.

The order, valued at ₹108 crore, marks a repeat award from MSEDCL and strengthens Jupiter International’s presence in Maharashtra’s solar pump market.

The project supports the state’s agricultural solarisation initiative by providing solar-powered irrigation solutions to farmers, while reinforcing the company’s position in the distributed renewable energy segment alongside its core business of manufacturing high-efficiency solar cells.

Commenting on the development, Akash Garodia, Executive Director, Jupiter International Limited, said:

“Receiving consecutive orders from MSEDCL is a strong endorsement of Jupiter’s execution capabilities and the confidence our customers place in our products and delivery standards. We remain committed to supporting India’s agricultural solarisation efforts through reliable, high-quality solar pumping solutions while continuing to strengthen our presence in this important growth segment.”

The latest order aligns with Jupiter International’s strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio and support India’s transition towards sustainable and decentralised clean energy solutions, while increasing access to clean energy for the agricultural sector.
