LONGi Supports Kazakhstan’s Energy Transition: Astana Photovoltaic Technology Seminar Concludes Successfully

To actively support the development of renewable energy in Kazakhstan, LONGi, invited by Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan,His ExcellencyIlyas Bakytzhan, successfully held the “Empowering Kazakhstan’s Sustainable Future” photovoltaic technology seminar in Astana. The event brought together government officials, energy experts, and industry representatives to engage in in-depth discussions on “PV+” technologies and jointly explore paths for low-carbon energy transformation.

Fulfilling the commitment and deepening the consensus on cooperation
This seminar is a practical measure taken by LONGi to fulfill the commitment made during the March meeting in Beijing. On March 18th, LONGi’s founder, Mr. Li Zhen Guo, was invited to attend the business exchange meeting organized by His ExcellencyRoman Sklyar, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, in Beijing. During the meeting with the Prime Minister himself and the senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry, Li Zhen Guo clearly stated that LONGi is willing to share its 25 years of experience in new energy development and fully support Kazakhstan in optimizing its energy structure.

Technological Innovation: From the first-generation cell to HPBC 2.0 cell, LONGi has continuously broken through efficiency limits and led the industry’s technological frontier.
Scenario-based Solutions:Hi-MO 9 module, with its anti-shade performance, low power temperature coefficient, and excellent weak light performance, is well-suited to local environments, maximizing power generation benefits.
“Photovoltaic +” Strategy: LONGi’s multi-scenario comprehensive solutions help Kazakhstan build a clean energy hub and deeply explore planning potential.

Strong collaboration to jointly build a green energy future

JamesJin, President of LONGi for the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia Region, said: “Kazakhstan has superior natural resources and a forward-looking energy policy framework, with huge potential for photovoltaic development. LONGi will continue to leverage its global technological advantages, deepen cooperation, and assist Kazakhstan in realizing its green energy vision.”

Ilyas Bakytzhan highly praised the value of this seminar: “The experience shared by LONGi provides us with useful references for policy formulation and implementation. The ‘photovoltaic +’ coordinated development model is encouraging, and we look forward to further cooperation between the two sides.”

Practicing responsibility and building a sustainable ecosystem

This seminar is a vivid embodiment of LONGi’s “LIGHT” (Lead, Innovative, Green, Harmonious, Trustworthy) sustainable development concept. By empowering with technology and sharing experiences, it helps Kazakhstan build a greener and more resilient energy system, demonstrating LONGi’s responsibility and commitment of making the best of solar energy to help on building a green world global wide.
